Repeated editions of early Latvian novels (1879-1940): bibliographic data

LatSenRom (1879-1940) dataset contains bibliographic data on Latvian novels first published in book form from 1879 to 1940 and their reissued editions up to 2023. The dataset was created using edited and enriched bibliographic and authoritative data from the National Library of Latvia. The Electronic Union Catalogue database LNC04 was used as the basis and reference for the bibliographic data. Author names were normalized and matched with the authoritative database LNC10. In the latest version of the dataset (v2, created on 13 November 2024), records have been updated and refined. The previous version (v1, created on 13 June 2024) is also available for reference.
