Notes
1848. gadā Vidzemes un Kurzemes guberņu pareizticīgo draudzes atdalīja no Pleskavas bīskapijas un izveidoja patstāvīgu Rīgas pareizticīgo arhibīskapiju (krievu: Рижская епархия).
1850. gadā Jelgavas Sv. Simeona un Sv. Annas baznīcai jaunajā arhibīskapijā piešķīra katedrāles statusu, kas bija viena no Rīgas un Jelgavas arhibīskapa (aрхиепископ Рижский и Митавский) rezidencēm.
Celtniecība: 1774-1780.
Otrā pasaules kara laikā Sarkanās armijas uzbrukumā 1944. gada augustā katedrāli sagrāva, taču atliekas nenovāca un visu okupācijas laiku tās vietā atradās drupu kaudze.
Pārbūve: 1890-1892.
Pēc Latvijas neatkarības atjaunošanas to atdeva Latvijas Pareizticīgo Baznīcai un veica tās atjaunošanu (1993—2003)
